We offer quality riding instruction in a low stress enjoyable setting.  During the summer we run several weeks of summer day camp along with attending a variety of shows and events.  When it gets colder we have winter riding teams (IEA, NCEL, and NCAEL) for juniors and adults.  And we offer full board and training for our equine family members. 

 

Willowbend was established in 1984 as a small barn for the Johnson family horses (three of them at that point).  Since then it has grown to accommodate over 30 horses and many students (young, old, new, getting back to riding, etc).  In that time Willowbend has not lost the friendly, family atmosphere it was based on... our family has just gotten much bigger.  This makes Willowbend a great place to ride and a wonderful place to be a horse (or pony).  We hope you will join us.
